In the final 30 seconds of injury time, you found space in between their defenders and cross the final ball into the penalty box. The ball somehow find its way to your teammate feet and is now one on one with the goalkeeper, keeping his nerve, he then shoot the ball pass the goalkeeper and into the net in the dying seconds of the game. And this was the goal everyone was waiting for. This was the goal that won you the competition and nothing better then scoring it in the final seconds.
How many times when we go through life, something always happen in the final seconds. It can be for the better or worse. For example, the deadline is fast approaching and you still have not settle your payment. In the final minutes, a close friends of yours give you money and there and then, you are able to make your payment just before the deadline. Another example can be you are unable to finish your project because you are out of idea, then in the last minutes your brain suddenly flow with plenty of brilliant ideas for your project. In the end, you are able to finish your project in time before your boss checks on you.
Nothing makes a player more productive than the last minute. -John Kessel-
The key here is to never give up and be patient. Do not be anxious of what can’t be done cause in the final moments you never know a something great is about to happen. A breakthrough, a goal or a dream may just come in your way. In the final minutes, you may suddenly find that extra bit of energy, creativity or push to get the final winner. However sometimes, it may look like the score line will not change, but keep doing what you are doing, be persistent and not give in till the referee blow the final whistle. In the last minute, your hard work may finally pay off with a goal. In the last minute, you may unlock your dream and potential. In the final second, you are the winner.
In the final of 2010 World Cup held in South Africa, Spain vs Netherlands. Both of the countries are unable to score in each others net. After 90 minutes, it was still 0-0. In extra time, both teams look tired and the game looks like is going for penalties. Then in the dying minutes of extra time, Spain found that extra bit of energy and eventually scored with just four minutes to go, making them the champions of World Cup 2010. Often times, we just give up and settle for a stalemate draw. However, this is not the way to score your last minute winning goal, we just need to keep on going. In the last minute, you may be able to score in your dream, your target, your passion, your career, your winner.
