Many of us often go through life with lots of decisions and choices to make. However, some of the choices we make sometimes we wish we wouldn’t have make it. The truth of the matter is without having those choices and experience, you may miss an opportunity or chance.  All those detours in your life are a touring process may get you to where you want to be.

Sometimes your past mistakes is a stepping stone that is setting you up to your future glory. From one minister, he put it this way, ‘It is not a set back, but a set up’.  The problem is we keep dwelling in our detours and just spinning round the bush. It seems we accept the fact that we have lost in our past mistakes and detours. The solution is not to stay in detour, but to stray from it and move towards the right destination.

Very much like when we are driving and following our GPS, we sometimes make a mistake in our way and have a detour but we did not stop and give up to go to our destination, eventually, GPS will recalculate and find another alternative route to get to our destination and we still manage to reach it. It may be a longer route but you can observe different views and experience while you are driving. Hence, when you are in your detour, just enjoy the view and the process of it.

Don’t let your past Defines you, Desolate you, and Deform you,

Instead let it Refine you, Reinstate you and Reform you.
