How many of us have dwell in the past of yesterday? The day hold so much memories that we can’t seem to move forward with our lives. We may have such a great day yesterday that we do not want tomorrow to come or on the flip side, we may have such a bad day yesterday that the feeling of sadness still carries on till today. If our life is based on past experience and emotion, we cannot move on with what life has to offer. Most of the time, it is the past mistakes and failures of yesterday that is often holding us back to the joy of living today.

The thing is this, we have only one moment in this time, and as I am writing this blog, the time is still running. We got to learn to enjoy the time we have right now at this very moment as we will not be able to get it back. Though our thoughts may be stuck on yesterday events, time has already move on to today. Hence, lets learn to wake up every morning with enthusiasm and excitement, instead of saying ‘Oh, How I wish it was Yesterday, to, Yes, It’s the Day!’. Tell yourself, today may just be the best day yet in my life. From the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, ‘With new day comes new strength and new thoughts’.  Hence, never allow the bitterness of yesterday ruin your new strength and thoughts of today.

Today is the oldest you’ve been and the youngest you’ll ever be again.

Eleanor Roosevelt

When I was young, I was a very emotional kid. At that time when I was receiving my result for an important examination in school. The examination will determine you whether you are qualify to get into a good university. When I received the result and saw it, the result was not up to my expectation, I was so upset and angry. I did not believe at the result I saw. The next morning, with disbelief, I peak at my results again hoping I saw it wrongly yesterday, Guess what? Nothing change. I was again upset and angry at myself for not doing well. After a few months, I manage to get into good college and looking back at the event, I have allow the result of that day ruin the next day of my life. Looking back I could have move on sooner and celebrate with my family no matter what result I’ve gotten.

Hence, turn your ‘yesterday into “Yes, it’s the day!’. New day of new opportunity, new favour, new strength, new ideas, NEW LIFE!!! Have a great day everyone!
