Our words have power. They impact others, but they also impact us.

Michael Hyatt

When we are going through a rough patch in our life, the words we use are often towards the negative side, such as, ‘this is a terrible day’, ‘I’m so upset’, ‘I feel depress’ and so on. When we are going through sickness, we will say ‘I feel sick, I’ll never get well or I feel bad. When we are going through failure in our business, we will say ‘I am a failure, I’m not talented or I’m so stupid. When we are can’t achieve our dream, we will say…. well, you get the idea.

However, these words won’t change the situation as we are just talking ABOUT the situation. Instead, we should speak TO the situation. We should change our words in order to change our world. Have you realize that each time you say ‘you can’t do it’, your whole body starts to feel weaker? If you haven’t try, you can try it now. In the same token, whenever you say ‘I can do it’, your whole body suddenly starts to feel energize.

As we can see, our mouth play a vital role in changing your whole perspective about the world. So how do we speak to the situation? Well, we can start with each time when we are feeling sad over a setback, we can say ‘I am happy for I have another chance tomorrow to try again’. We can say it for a few time, and each time we say it, we will begin to gain back our believe, our hope and our happiness again.

Therefore, let us speak life into any situation we are going through, speak healing over our sickness, speak success when things are pointing south, speak hope over our hopelessness, speak love over hatred and speak strength over our weaknesses. For our mouth have the power to hold the key that shape our reality. Today, Change your words and you will change your world.
