Frustration, although quite painful at times, is a very positive and essential part of SUCCESS.

How many of us get frustrated at times? Be it frustrated about our job, frustrated about how the way we look, frustrated about the way we are living our life, etc…. The conclusion is that all of us get frustrated and angry at some point in our life. For instance, a corporate employee is frustrated at his job, he hate his job so much but couldn’t choose to quit because of money. How many of you can relate to this example? I am sure some of you can…

Now, coming back to the example, there are basically two reactions the employee can choose to do next.

Firstly, Frustration that leads to Negative Change. The corporate employee was maybe cheerful and happy before he started working. Now, all we see is an employee who is angry, frustrated and sad. He then later allowed his frustration and anger to consume him till he no longer care about his life, no longer wanting to live his dreams, no longer hungry about what he wants and rather just exists in life. How many of you seen such person in your office? I have seen many in my office who was once upbeat and cheerful but now hardly even smile. Therefore, don’t allow your frustration to lead you till you lost yourself in existences.

The second reaction however is the one we should choose, which is the Frustration that leads to Positive Change. Using the same example, the corporate employee was maybe cheerful and now he is an angry and frustrated employee. However this time, he control and uses his frustration to motivate himself that he has had enough of this job, he no longer wants to stay this way and is willing to do everything in his power to change his life for the better. He begins to apply for his dream job till he eventually gets it. Therefore, sometimes frustration in life leads you to find yourself again.

You see, frustration is not always a bad thing if we use it correctly. The key here is not to allow anger to control you but rather control and use the anger to motivate you to change. Therefore, if you are frustrated about the way you look, use that frustration as your drive to change the way you look, go to the gym, buy new clothes, change your style. Finally, if you are frustrated about the way you are living your life, use that frustration as your drive, that you have had it with this way of living and wanting to change direction for the better, to start achieving your dreams once again.
