Sometimes all it takes is a tiny shift of perspective to see something familiar in a totally new light.

Dan Brown

There are times in our daily lives, we don’t see the little things that we do as significant or important. We feel as if the need of doing it is not necessary and sometimes a waste of time. For instances, to take your colleague out for a drink, to talk to a friend you have not seen for a long time, as for career, to change your plans slightly in order to reach your goal or to go to work 5 minutes earlier than usual, all this things may not seem much and we may think it will not change a single thing.

However, the opposite is true. Just imagine you are following a compass to find your way out of a lost jungle and if you follow just 1 degree wrongly from your compass, you may end up getting even more lost. In a football game, if the ball is over the line within 1 cm, it is still counted as a goal. While playing a guitar, if you press the string just 1 fret higher, it will produce a totally different sound. Therefore, small action does make a huge difference.

In our life as well, we can start to change our perspective towards small things and look at it as big things. While reaching for your goals, if things are not working out, start changing your plans slightly, we may never know this is the plan that will propel you further into your dreams. While doing business or sales, if things are failing, start doing things just slightly different, for we never know that this is the strategy we have been looking for to grow our business and sales.

Hence, small action does make a huge difference. It may not seem like much but it may be the only thing necessary to improve our lives. A small decision in our life can determine how big our destiny will be. In closing, start today, as we are living our daily lives, to see the small things that we do is able to make a huge impact in the world! SMALL ACTION, HUGE DIFFERENCE…
