He is not here; he has risen.

Luke 24:6

Jesus was crucified, he died, he was buried, he was risen and conquered the grave, he is now alive forevermore.

Death could not hold him, Grave could not keep him, Cross could not finish him, Satan could not stand him, Our sins could not defeat him. All this because Jesus could not stop loving US!

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus important?

In the bible it says, ‘And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vein.’ The resurrection of Jesus goes to proof that all our sins has been dealt with and we are no longer in bondage of sin. It also goes to proof that God is no longer angry with us. When God sees us right now, he don’t see a sinner but he sees us that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus to those who believe. God sees us no longer as a servant but as his children. Because of Jesus, we are now all a child of God.

Where is Jesus Now?

After 40 days of resurrection, Jesus was taken up to heaven, to be seated at the right hand of Father. Jesus is not only in heaven but he lives in us through the Holy Spirit to those who believe. He is alive and he is alive in us. He is now with us everyday, every minute and every second, he will be by our side, leading us in every step of the way in our life.

In the book of 1 John 4:17, it says, ‘As he is, so are we in this world.’ And because of Jesus victory on the cross, we too can live victoriously in our life, And because Jesus rose up, we too can rise up from our defeat, failures and mistake in life. For there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Therefore, this Easter, let us thank him and celebrate for all the goodness he has done for us. Happy Easter!!!
