When you focus on the problems you will have more problems. When you focus on possibilities, you will have more opportunities.

There will always be problems in our life. We will always face new difficulties or experience new challenges in our life. For instances, the bank rejected your loan, your boss disagreeing to all your ideas, your relationship is taking a bitter route, your car breaks down in middle of no where, etc… You see, there will always be problems and some of the problems is not even our doings but yet we still face the same consequence.

However, here’s the thing, focusing on the problem is never the solution of solving it. It is only by focusing on the solution for the problem, we will then be able to solve the matter. There was an example I heard, that if a person accidentally spilled a glass of milk on the floor and all the person do was blaming other things, saying the floor was slippery, saying the glass was slippery or saying the person beside pushed him. And after all that, the person will still not have milk to drink. Therefore, the person is simply focusing on the problem, dwelling on the problem and in the end, it did not solve anything.

Now, let’s say the same scenario happens but this time, after spilling the milk, the person quickly gets a piece of cloth to wipe the floor and make himself a new glass of milk to enjoy. Problem Solved. Isn’t it much better? Therefore as we can see, focusing on the solution is always better than focusing on the problem. From the second example, not only the person solve the problem but in addition he got to enjoy his new glass of milk.

Focusing on the solution is the best option to solve problems. On the other hand, focusing on the problem, we will be fallen to more problems.

Hence, in our life, no matter what you are going through, no matter what problems you are facing, always remember to focus on the solution for the problem and not focusing on the problem for the solution. Only then, we will be able to solve the matter.
