If you gave your inner genius as much credence as your inner critic, you would be light years ahead of where you now stand

Alan Cohen

Everyone here has the potential to become so much more than they are. Each and everyone of us has a gift. A specific set of abilities, skills, talents and knowledge that were given to us from above. We are all genius in our way.

The reason why most of us haven’t tap into our inner genius is because of many factors. One of the biggest factor is the people around us. The people around you may tell you that you are not smart enough, you can’t go far.. Maybe during your school days when your teacher said, ‘you are a dumb kid’, ‘you can’t even pass your exams’.

Therefore, because of all these words spoken to us, we accept that we are a failure, we can’t do great things, we are not smart etc…

But here’s the thing, remember what Albert Einstein said ‘Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability of climbing a tree, forever it will think it is stupid’.

This saying holds so much truth, in life, we are mostly based on what the societies educational standards. But the truth of the matter is everyone is a genius. The fish will finds its full potential when the fish is in the water, therefore, we too have to find our own ‘waters’ in life for we are a genius in our own ‘waters’.
