Fear causes more regret than failure

Taryn Rose

FEAR…

The one word that causes most people not reach their fullest potential. It is just 4 letters but it causes a lifetime of regret.

Most of us fear to do what we really wanted to do because we fear that we could fail, fall and be embarrassed.

But what’s worst is not the fear of failure but the fear of regret. As time pass by, we will start think to ourselves, ‘what if I did it’, what if I started, what if I live for more my dream!!!’

By not doing, we may end up in regrets but by doing, though we might fail, but we succeed by giving our ideas a chance. It is always better to try and fail than to fail to try.

So don’t fear failure, but fear regret because in failure we learn, we improve and improvise and one day, we might succeed. Someone once said that failure is the highway to success. In regret, we live inside a world of ‘What if’, feeling full of regrets knowing we could have done better is far worse than the feeling that we have tried our best.

Therefore, today, start doing what you once afraid of, take the calculated risk, to achieve what your hear desire, run towards your dreams and aspiration, shoot for the stars and be the best that you possibly can. Remember always, never to fear failure, but to fear regret.
