Out of Adversity comes Opportunity

Benjamin Franklin

In every adversity lies the seed of an equal or greater opportunity

napoleon hill

It has been about 2 months since I left my previous job as a trainer due to the affect of Covid-19 and culture…

Prior to that, I’ve went to a few promising interviews with the confidence I’ll enter.. However, it was not to be…

Now looking back it was because I’ve left, it has given me the opportunity to focus mainly on my training career.. It might be the worse time to do it but sometimes, we got to have faith..

Since then, I have: –
– Written an ebook 📘
– Pick up mandarin again (Yes, I’m a banana 🍌😅)
– Finished up training modules on Self-motivation, presentation and communication (I’m open to connect🎤)
– Did a few Zoom training with partners🎥
– Attended a few webinars 💻
– Rebooted my YouTube and other social media presence📱

I am still exploring and learning as time goes by.. but what I’m saying that in the midst of losing something, we can gain something better in life😇

So never give up, there is always an opportunity around the corner of adversity.. Keep going! This is not the final chapter of your life and mine.. Keep writing your new chapter.. Have a great day ahead!

Omelets are not made without breaking eggs

MAXIMILIEN ROBESPIERRE

There is blessing each time when there is a breaking. Sometimes in life, we thought that everything is over when our life is breaking down and is tearing apart.

But let me encourage you with another illustration. We will not know the gift inside of a present unless we tear it up. Just like in our life, we will not know our potential, our gifts, our new talents and abilities until we faced some season of tearing, some season of brokenness.

Those hardships are blessing in disguise as we are about to discover a better version of ourselves. So remember this, you may be in a season of tearing and brokenness right now, but stay encouraged for you are about to discover new blessings in your life.

Don’t give up at half-time. Concentrate on winning the second half.

Paul Bryant

Second Half is a whole new ball game

ahman green

First Half is done! we might be losing badly, we might be crushed and hurt and thought that it’s over for us.

For my first half this year, I can say that I lost a lot but gain a few great things.

But don’t forget.. It’s not over.

There is still the second half… Just like in a game of football, though a team may be losing in the first half, there is still the second half for the team to do a comeback to win the game.

Whatever happen in the first half is done.. Don’t look back.. Your second half is more important than your first half.. Focus on the second half, It is a chance for us to score our goals and win our game for this year! Come on!!!

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

Confucius

You may not be responsible for getting knocked down. But you’re certainly responsible for getting back up.

Wally Amos

It may not be our fault that we got down, it may not be fair that we are suffering right now, it may not bring justice for the consequences that it is bringing to us…

But remember…

Don’t stay that way for too long. In the end of the day, it is up to us to choose to respond wisely. It is up to us to get back in the game. It is up to us to rise up again. Though it is not fair that we may be down but it is our fight to get back up once again.

Everyone falls down. Getting back up is how you learn how to walk.

Your value doesn’t decrease based on someone inability to see your worth.

Know your worth. You must find the courage to leave the table when respect is no longer being served

TENE edwards

Sometimes, it’s easy for us to feel down when people don’t treat you right. We may be mistreated by our boss, our colleagues, etc… I’ve experienced a boss too who treated me and the rest of my colleagues as dirt and trash can that they can kick around.

But we got to remember this, we got to know our worth. No one should ever discriminate you because you are beautifully and wonderfully made. We are all a masterpiece. One of a kind. We are worth more than we could ever think. Why? Because there is only person like you and no one else is like you.

Each time when we are treated badly, don’t let it affect you, sometimes, it’s good to walk out on certain toxic environment that’s tormenting your thoughts. Let’s be more confident about ourselves. Stand up tall, walk up straight and know your worth.

Surround with people who know your worth. You don’t need too many people to be happy, just a few real ones who appreciate you for exactly who you are.

There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.

C.S Lewis

It doesn’t matter what has happened. Better things are coming. God’s plans produces hope in me.

James Macdonald

All of us have lost something in our life. We may have lost our jobs, lost our business, lost our relationships, lost our dreams and lost our passion. But stay encouraged that when one door closes, a better door is just waiting behind the corner.

Many times, we don’t see better doors ahead of us is because we keep looking back at the closed door. The key here is we got to change our focus and look ahead. What’s ahead of us is better than what’s behind us. Believe it. Claim it. Receive it.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting.

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet

Aristotle

God has perfect timing; never early, never late.

As the world is becoming more and more modern, everything is becoming digitalize, everything is becoming faster…

From how fast the internet speed is, how fast our phone is, to how fast the delivery from an online store is…

We expect everything in our life to be fast, efficient and instant. But sometimes what this does is we forgot the ability of being patient. For example, we want to have instant success, we want to get the promotion quickly, etc… And we get upset if this things are not met quick enough.

However, there are times not everything must be quick and instant. There are times we got to learn how to be patient in order to achieve something great in our life. There are times we got to wait in order to reach a destination. There are times we got to be steady and calm in order to become the person that we wish to be.

Patience is the key element of success

Forgiveness does not change the past but it does enlarge the future.

Paul Lewis Boese

When people do us wrong, it is extremely hard to let it go and forgive the person. But sometimes, we got to understand is that the person may not even feel that they are in the wrong or sometimes, they are scare to admit their faults.

The grudges we are storing up inside of us hurts more than what the other person is feeling. That person might just walk away freely without knowing that you are hurting. This is the reason why that it is important for us to learn to forgive even when they don’t deserve it. Forgiveness is for your own peace, own freedom and own harmony.

Forgive others not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.

Jonathan lockwood huie

It’s one of the greatest gift you can give yourself, to forgive. Forgive everybody.

Everyone deserve to be treated with respect, compassion and dignity. Everyone should be treated equally.

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.

Thomas merten

Let us choose to show care, kindness, love and respect to everyone in this world…

It is sad to see what’s happening around the world. Everyone should be treated fairly and just. Everyone should be treated equally. No one should suffer any form of discrimination, racism and inequality in this world.

It’s important to know that people are speaking up and fighting for change but looting and vandalism would not solve the issue.

At this time, it’s more important that we pray for wisdom, pray for peace and unity, pray for grace and mercy, pray for love and care. Amen.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Don’t worry, everything is going to be alright. Maybe not right this very second but God makes everything beautiful in his time.

Anonymous

It is not easy to go through sad moments in life. Recently, I’ve just lost someone so dear to me. It was really one of the saddest moment in my life. Not being able to feel the presence of the person again. I am sure many of us will feel the same way if we were to lose someone we loved so much.

And it is alright to cry, to feel sad and to mourn for the person you missed. It is the time to let out our emotions and feelings. It is the time to find comfort and support among your family members and closest friends. It is always good to have people who understands what you are going through to comfort you in time of need.

But we should not be sad for too long, we got to eventually pick up ourselves and say that everything is going to be okay. I am very sure the person who passed on wouldn’t want to see you sad all the time. We got to tell ourselves that everything in the end will be alright.

Take this moment to be grateful for their lives and spend quality time with your family and close ones. For everyone of us won’t be here forever, therefore, spend time wisely to those who you love and cherish.
